Psychotherapy is also known as individual therapy, talk therapy, counseling, or simply, therapy. During psychotherapy, you learn about yourself, your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Individual therapy is a personalized process where what works for one person may not be effective for another person. It is important to be honest with your therapist so we can help you find the tools and techniques that help you and your situation. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthier decisions, reducing stress and reaching their goals.
